How can I check my SPAM filter?
Hoffman York uses a 3rd party service from Mimecast to scan our email for spam, viruses or phishing scams.
All employees receive daily held spam reports, called "Digests", twice a day in their email for any email that has been filtered since the previous digest was received. The digests arrive between 11am-12pm and 4pm-5pm, Monday through Friday. If there was no email blocked during that period, you will not get an email. In an email digest, you can see what was blocked and release any email you want.

If you haven't received an email that you are expecting, it may have been caught in this system.
How do I check my held messages?
You can access your individual spam filter using this website:
https://hoffmanyork.login-us.mimecast.com
Login using your computer username and password.

Once you are logged in, you will see your held dashboard. From here, you can review messages and release them as needed. Clicking Permit releases and whitelists senders at the same time.
ALSO: To prevent blocking of sender's emails, you can also send them an email. Sending anyone an email automatically whitelists the recipient for 120 days. But this does not save them from being scanned for viruses and phishing attempts.
