New Phone? - Fix your CyberArk app

Hoffman York utilizes CyberArk authentication for access to it's systems and services. Authentication is done through their app or SMS/text authentication. The CyberArk app, installed on your cell phone, is tied to unique details of each cell phone. If you upgrade or replace your phone, then restore your apps and data from either a phone clone or file restore, the CyberArk will not work correctly.


THE QUICK WORKAROUND - For CyberArk authentication, use the text/SMS method to authenticate.

When authenticating, select Text Message from list of authentication methods.


THE REAL FIX (in a nutshell, you are just logging out and back in again)

  1. Open the CyberArk app on your phone.

  1. Open the menu in the top left and select Settings at the bottom.

  1. Swipe to the bottom and select Logout.

  1. Once logged out, complete the process to login and enroll your phone again.

CyberArk should now be fixed.
