Windows - Pairing Bluetooth Devices

For the purposes of this guide, we will be pairing a sound device such as headphones. These same steps can be used to pair mice, keyboards and other peripherals.

These steps are applicable to Windows 10.

  1. Click on the Start Menu.



  2. Immediately type "Blue". Results should be displayed that include "Bluetooth and other Devices". Click on that option.

  3. The Bluetooth & other device menu should be displayed. 


    NOTE - At this point, you should have your Bluetooth device put into pairing mode. Refer to the instructions included with your device on how to do this.


  4. Click the + sign to begin adding a device.


  5. Select Bluetooth as the kind of device to add.



  6. A list of available devices is displayed. Select the device you wish to add.


  7. Upon a successful pairing, you should see a screen like the one below.
