TECH TIP: Low Disk Space (Mac) - Try These Things
There are lots of reasons that your hard drive can fill up. Outside of dumping unneeded files or emptying the Trash folder, here are some common causes and solutions.
Are you a Adobe After Effects user?
Purge your disk cache.
Within After Effects select the Edit menu and then select Purge > All Memory & Disk Cache. This will delete all of the cached files and free up the disk space they were using.
